A shapes plunger cutter is a baking tool used to create decorative shapes in dough or fondant for cake decorating. It typically consists of a circular base with a spring-loaded plunger on top. The base is pressed into the dough or fondant, cutting out the desired shape, and then the plunger is pushed down to release the cut shape from the cutter.
Great for use with fondant, gumpaste and modelling chocolate.
Inbuilt plunger leaves an imprint and makes for easy removal from the cutter. Leave decorations to set either flat or shaped before use, or use straight after cutting.
